Trematodes (Suction Worms)
Trematodes or also called suction
worms are a class of vertebrate members belonging to the Platyhelminthes phylum. Types of worms Trematodes live as parasites
in animals and humans. His body is covered with cuticles to keep his body from
being digested by his host and has a suction device and hook to attach himself
to his host. An example of a Trematode member is Fasciola hepatica (liver worms). These worms live in the hearts of
goats, sheep, cattle, and buffaloes.
